Ubuntu to Ubuntu Save SSH Key

This is a simple guide to saving SSH Keys
The key and following commands are performed on the client system and then pushed to the server via ssh-copy-id
Step 1, create your keypair
ssh-keygen -t rsa -b 4096 -C "[email@example.com]"
The result should ask for a filename
Enter file in which to save the key (~/.ssh/id_rsa):
Just hit Enter to use the listed default.
You will also be asked for an optional password, I usually leave this blank on systems that are only used by myself.

Now you need to pass this key to each SSH server using the following:
ssh-copy-id username@host
Now enter the SSH connections password and the key will be saved.

To list existing key files:
ls ~/.ssh/id_*
